Use & Care

Use

• Plug in toaster before inserting bread so bread lifters latch down. Gently press down lever and hold for 1 second to engage.
• When toasting is complete, bread will rise and toaster will emit 3 chimes.
• Press desired toast setting (bagel, frozen or 1 slice) before or during cycle.
• Use 1-slice mode to ensure even browning when toasting single slice.
• Use bagel mode to toast bagels. Insert bagel with cut side facing outward.
• Use frozen mode to toast frozen items.
• Use both bagel mode and frozen mode for frozen bagels.
• Do not use with toaster pastries.

Care

• Unplug toaster and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Wipe crumb tray, food slots and exterior clean with soft, lint-free cloth.
• Do not use abrasive or corrosive cleaners.
• To remove stubborn food debris, gently tilt toaster and tap it to release crumbs into tray. Use non-metal utensil to loosen stubborn food debris.
• Empty crumb tray regularly to prevent buildup and reduce fire risk.
• Do not immerse toaster, plug or cord in water.
